Rail Gun.

This model is for my third book to illustrate different types of model making.

The idea is to make something look complex with easy to get materials. Yes, a lot of this is Lego, it is easy to acquire and kids understand it. (Actually, cheap Chinese knock off Lego for most of it).

The rail carriages are old tank toys.

Building the bulk out of Lego shows how to take a product and think outside the box with it to create something new.

There is a bit of a frame structure inside to hold the weight as well as it all being glued together.

This is it on its rails ready to be photographed.
